I am currently looking into this, and will post with more details as they become available. Please verify that the reader has the current firmware, and that it is plugged in to a powered USB port, and let me know if it still does not log anything in All Messages in the console.įinally, I wanted to let you know that the Beta 0.95 Tokend may interfere with the card reader.
Rocketek cac reader red light mac os#
This firmware version is absolutely necessary in order for this reader to pass information to the Mac OS in any way. The SCR331 has been tested in-house successfully, though, given that it has been updated to a firmware version of at least v5.25. I have to recommend against using this reader at this time. not been able to get the SCR3500 to work with the current versions of our software. I just checked with engineering, and they state that they have tested this reader successfully. You stated that you had tried two readers, a SCR3500 and a SCR331. No matter if PKard is working yet or not, there should be something logged in the "All Messages", and the lights should blink on the card reader when it is working properly. If nothing is happening when you insert the CAC (card reader lights up, etc.), please check that the card reader is plugged into a powered USB port. I replied with some incorrect information, and will edit accordingly.
